In December 2006 the members of the Boca Raton Amateur Radio Association
voted to collect funds for the ARRL's Spectrum Defense fund.  The
results of that initial effort ($355.00) were presented to ARRL president Joel
Harrison at the Orlando Hamcation in February 2007.  "We hope to inspire
other clubs to take the same action as the BRARA has" said Association
president Sjaak Van Dam, W4RIS.
